In order to meet the market demand and project requirements of our clients, NCT Offshore has decided to place an order for a new purpose-built cable laying vessel for delivery in Q4 of 2024. The New-Build CLV will be capable of providing turn-key array cable T&I scopes of work for the offshore renewable industry, providing a one-stop-shop solution for our clients. The vessel will be a diesel-electric DP2 vessel, fitted with a hybrid battery package, single-cabin accommodation for 60 persons, 2x cable carousels with 3.500+ t cable carrying capacity, an innovative walk-to-work system, and many more features which make our New-Build CLV perfect for large scale offshore projects
